Study Day at the National Maritime Museum

The 1851 Trust in association with the National Maritime Museum, is hosting a STEM skills study day to increase participation, contribution and confidence of pupils in science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM).

18th October. Up to 60 pupils, from Years 7 and 8 will take part in a day of science, technology and sustainability activities using the inspiration of the British America’s Cup sailing team.

Teachers are invited to bring a group of 15 pupils. If you would like to bring a group from your school, you can see the full schedule and book here  or please contact our education manager  if you have any queries.

The National Maritime Museum in Greenwich has created a dedicated exhibition to highlight the story of Land Rover BAR and introduce some of the cutting-edge technology used in the America’s Cup boats.  The exhibition is also open to the general public, free of charge. For more details visit:
