Study Day at the National Maritime Museum

The 1851 Trust in association with the National Maritime Museum, is hosting a STEM skills study day to increase participation, contribution and confidence of pupils in science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM).

18th October. Up to 60 pupils, from Years 7 and 8 will take part in a day of science, technology and sustainability activities using the inspiration of the British America’s Cup sailing team.

Teachers are invited to bring a group of 15 pupils. The National Maritime Museum in Greenwich has created a dedicated exhibition to highlight the story of Land Rover BAR and introduce some of the cutting-edge technology used in the America’s Cup boats.  The exhibition is also open to the general public, free of charge.
